Neomycin Ear Drops Causing Burning Sensation
UpdatedDoes this medicine go to the back of the throat? I put four drops in my ear and it burned my sinuses and the back of my throat.

Hello, Gwen! How are you? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
No, medications placed in your ear should not cause such issues with your nose and throat. The FDA lists the typical side effects as normally being limited to the ear and possibly including topical redness, itching, a feeling of fullness, and drainage.
Sometimes, something may hit a certain nerve in your ear and make you cough, but that is usually the extent of it.
