Negative Urine Test At The Va In Biloxi Ms

So I did my drug tests for the VA and they said that I have three negative test and there is no trace of medication in my system so they stopped prescribing me medication. I take oxycodone/acetaminophen 5/325 once every 12 hours. I took the test 14 hours or so after my dose in the morning. How could this come back negative multiple times over the past 6 months? Can pre-workouts and the like cause false negative results on a urine test?

There are actually various things that could cause this, including the quality of the test they are using. If they're using one of the cheaper, non-certified tests that are on the market, it may not be accurate. There are only a couple that are FDA certified for accuracy and many places don't use them, since they are more expensive.

If you drink a lot of fluids, the sample could be too dilute for the test to read it, according to the NIH.

And yes, pre-workouts/exercise could also cause dilution, especially if you're sweating a lot.

Are you on any other medications?
