Need To Find A Doc Who Will Prescribe Oxycodone 15's In Maine

Hi. I have been taking oxy 15's four times a day for the past five years. I have gone through two doctors, as the constant drug testing and pill counts have resulted in unfair dismissals from wonderful physicians who had no choice, as it was hospital policy. I am so tired of being treated like a drug seeker. I suffer from degenerative arthritis in my hips, bulging discs in lumbar spine, fibromyalgia, sacroiliac joint dysfunction as well as depression and panic disorder. I have not had any relief from pain in over 10 months. I have two young children and I can barely provide for their basic care and needs. It is so depressing and sad, when I can function normally if medicated appropriately. Someone please help me find a doctor or give me some advice. I cannot hold down a job or be active in any way. It's ruining all aspects of my life! Thanks for your input and advice.

In a lot of lower back pain can't move sometimes I miss out on a lot of stuff that I can't do with my son because I'm in so much pain
Hey My Friend,
Trust me, I know just what you are going through! I was discharged from one pain doctor but I was Not at fault and will not say I was. It was due to a bogus pill count and the doctor had told the nurse to lie about my pill count.
I found out later that the doctor was under investigation by the DEA and FBI. So to make herself look good, they set me up and then lied in my records.
But this actually turned out to be a true Blessing In Disguise because I was getting sick and tired of the long 4-hour waits and longer, at my appointment time before I was called back.
And getting really sick and tired of the mistreatment by her and her NP witch named Jennelle...A real piece of work, she is.
The very same day I was unfairly discharged, I went to my car and started praying to God about what to do. It was like being kicked while already down because my wife and I had just separated. Thank God we worked things out eventually and are now back together since 2015.
Anyway, as I prayed, God told me to do a search and let Him guide my hands. I did and came upon a doctor out of APM. God told me to call them and so I did. I made my appointment and when it was time, I took my pain meds with me, the ones that my other pos pain doctor had given me one last time.
I was completely Honest with the doctor about it. I told him Exactly what happened. After reviewing my past 8-year records from them, which was a near-perfect record for 8 years...Passing every u/a and blood evaluation given, never coming up dirty...Ever...He believed me.
He said he had heard other stories from that doctor's past patients. And he had deemed her as a very Dishonest doctor! He accepted me as a new patient and continued my pain meds but with a minor change in them.
That was in 2014 and I am still with them. And they do random u/a's but it's not every freaking visit. And no blood evaluations!
And they treat me Very Well!! They treat all of their patients as people that suffer from pain...not as junkies from the street!! They are just the absolute Best!
I'm not saying that every doctor who discharges patients are dishonest or treats patients horribly...But in my case, I am saying that the doctor that I was seeing for 8 freaking years and with a near-per....No...a Perfect record because the reason for my discharge was based on total lies...But that doctor and her NP Jennelle were mistreating, rude, and arrogant, and downright Dishonest liars!!
I live in Fayette, Maine I am due for back surgery soon I have my mri and history report. I have depression amoung other isssues. I'm 65 years old and my doctor won't perscribe me any pain medication for reflief. I have been living with this pain for many years. I'm in need of finding a doctor that will perscribe me oxys if someone has any information that maybe help please. Thank you.
Hi, Cory! Wow, I am so sorry that you are suffering so much.
Have you tried any other options for your pain, such as therapy or injections? They would eliminate the other issues, like pill counting and etc.
Regardless of where you go, any doctor the prescribes such medications is going to have strict regulations that will require pill counting, drug testing, frequent office visits and etc. They have no choice in the matter, due to the laws they have to follow. If they don't follow them, they end up risking their license to practice medicine.
