Need To Find A Methaone Dr. For Severe Pain In Southern California

Looking for a Dr. That prescribes Methadone in Southern California Northridge area or Encino, Tarzana, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, North Hollywood, and Burbank. Also Reseda, Mission Hills and Chatsworth. Southern California Los Angeles area has a lot of little cities in it! I suffer from horrible degenerative disc disease that goes up and down my back all the way up to my neck. The top of my neck. I also suffer from fibromyalgia, so basically every day is a pain struggle and I have a doctor that is weaning me from pills but I didn't mean for him to wean me all the way off, I meant for him to wean me down. I had a horrible doctor before that basically got me hooked on loads and loads of methadone and I'm so far down that I'm proud of myself, but this doctor is putting me in a lot of pain. Truthfully it's not really him, it's the ladies who work in the front office. They won't schedule me for appointments when I need them. I've had this problem so many times that I think I need to find a new doctor. Does anyone know a good pain management doctor that takes Medicare (because I'm on disability). Even if they don't it's okay for now. I can look for someone who does take Medicare while going to a doctor close to me that treats me like a real pain patient and not a drug addict. I have never been addicted to anything I just got leanient on the meds the other doctor prescribed and didn't know I was doing anything wrong because it was for my pain which is horrid! If anyone can help I will appreciate it so much! I need to find a doctor who understands my pain and is willing to treat it in a proper way without me having to go through hell every time I need to make an appointment. And also not run out of medication before my next appointment because they won't schedule me in time. Thank you!

ALLISON: So I take it you are not willing to go to a methadone clinic? I know of a good one in Pasadena. Unfortunately it is difficult to find private doctors to give out methadone. I am one of the lucky ones here in the Denver area who actually has a doctor prescribing me 85 mgs of tablet methadone.

I still need a compassionate doctor in Encino or Tarzana or the surrounding areas that prescribe oxycodone for something as strong because I have severe chronic neck and back pain. I have degenerative disc disease of the back and neck and bulging discs in my neck and cracks. I also have fibromyalgia. I'm in constant pain and the past year-and-a-half it seems all doctors and pharmacies has taking drastic changes to treat people in pain like drug addicts. All I want to do is have something that will help me live my life. Not trying to get high just trying to live. I need a doctor Like Forest tenant who I used to go to until my insurance wouldn't pay for any medications that he prescribed. Every other doctor since has been horrible and I need someone compassionate like that again that is not afraid of the DEA. Does anyone know someone like this near Encino Tarzana or Van Nuys?, a couple of other places are Reseda, Northridge North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, and maybe even Hollywood. Wherever the best most compassionate doctor is. Can anyone please help me? I am suffering so much. The doctor I have is very very strict in my pain is not covered at all. Help!
