Need Pain Doctor? Located In Ga

I have a multitude of problems that cause me so much pain. But my current pain doc doesn't wanna prescribe me more than Percocet 3x a day. It's not helping my pain at all. Plus I don't really like her (bad attitude). I need a pain doctor who will write me more than just 90 pills a month. I need one of those doctors who just writes a prescription and sends you on your way. Anyone know of a place I can go to? I'm in Dallas, GA but I can travel pretty much anywhere (Villa rica, Atlanta, Smyrna, etc. Anywhere.)

Hello, Kayla! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.

However, I'm afraid that the days of doctors being able to prescribe like that are over. The DEA set forth new regulations last year that restrict what they can prescribe, how much of it they can prescribe and why they can prescribe it. If you read through many posts on this site, you'll see that many people are having the amounts their prescribed cut and even some pharmacies refusing to fill their prescriptions.

The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that might be able to refer you to someone else? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to get in with a new doctor.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
