I have an Irepairably broken back and have struggled for years,fighting through the pain just to do the most basic and simple things in life.Most days I would rather eat a bullet than fight through today just to do it again tomorow,Well that changed when my Doc suggested I try Oxy's,It had been so long since I enjoyed anything but the knawlege that one day I would die.Oxy made life bearable and I actually Began to Love life,I made love to my wife and played with my Neices and Nephews,And looked forward to the good things in life.But thanks to IDIOT JUNKIE MOTARDS, Im back to the endless pain,Inability to sleep,and the desire for a meteor to come crashing through the roof and landing on my head.So forgive my being utterly pissed off at the people who were STUPID enough to abuse drugs.But even more pissed about you Idiots that blame the drug,TAKE RESPONSABILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS.If you abuse a drug and you die,or it ruins your life thats not the drugs fault,YOU TOOK THE DRUG ONLY YOU ARE TO BLAME. And Parents crying about the demon drug because their teenager overdosed and died,Is Bullspit, If your stupid and abuse a drug you earned your death.PEOPLE MAKE CHOICES,OXY's DONT

This is a response for jayjay124. I understand that you believe in god and you think that this belief will make you have no pain but I am here to say I have put all my pain over to god and I still cannot move and I still am not cancer free what you are failling to realize is any drug has its goods and bads will you tell a person that has deadly seziures to stop taking there medication that keeps them alive and trust that god wont take them no thanks the odds that the lord would save you are slim if you dont need a drug i understand if you do need a drug and you take them as perscribed then medications can be life saving or even freeing enough for a person to have a quality of life worth living!

This has been a interesting place to read up on this stuff. I am a morphine patient. And have used Oc's before. In a pinch type of thing. You all seem pretty nice and strong individuals!!

In the state I live in they would lock u up and toss the key. I hope you are joking or at least live in a very drug tolerant state. Get a brain! A friend of mind was looking at 20 years just for srooms and a scale you dumb @$$

I say that you shouldnt go online and say s**t like that. Only a fool would get caught in a trap like that. Not to mention the sell and abuse of theses pills is why they are being changed. Its people like you that have ruined it for people that truely need this medicine. Those who are on here bragging about how many different ways to take oc are just as bad. Do to your abuse of the drug people are suffering. So instead of getting on your computer and bitchen about your problem. Fix it by following the the directions on the f***ing prescription bottle. That is the one thing I hate about the United State's. Everbody has somthing to bitch about but nobody want's to do anything about it.

I am truly angry with Purdue for changing oxys. I have been on them for years. They were the only pill that gave me my life back - at least for a few hours a day. They never lasted 12 hours, but a few hours with less pain is better than none. I have attempted suicide even on oxys trying to end this constant pain. Now I am sure the next time I won't screw it up and end this worthless miserable existance. I wish people hadn't abused oxys so the pharmacy company didn't have to find a way to stop it. I read online that they actually put plastic in the OPs. And the new OPs don't work half as well as the old OCs did. And they take twice as long to work when they do. My doctor is paranoid about giving me any more pain medicine. He is afraid I will stop breathing in the middle of the night. He doesn't understand what a blessing that would be. It's a risk I am more than willing to take. He isn't - probably afraid he will lose his license.
If anyone knows how to make these OPs work better, please tell me. I'd give anything for some pain relief. I have never used street drugs or even smoked marijuana. But I am desperate to find some pain relief. I would gladly accept some advice from anyone with a suggestion. I have been in constant pain since 1993 from neck surgery that made things worse than it was before the surgery. I am tired. Tired of pain. I wish I knew for sure if one went to hell for committing suicide. I was out of my mind when I tried killing myself about a month ago. The Lord didn't let me die. I only want to end the pain. I am told there is no pain in Heaven. That is where I want to be. I don't want to lose Heaven by killing myself. Anyway, yeah, any suggestions on how to make the new oxy OPs work would be appreciated. God bless you all.

I am so sory to hear about your pain and your situation, While I do believe in God and that he can work mircales. I was in no means suggesting that everyone should just stop taking their meds and wait on God to swoop down from heaven and cure all pains. If that was the case, I would have stopped taking my nerve pain meds a long time ago. I was trying to say that meds are really good for most people to help them live decent if not normal life, and the ones like Kelly are messing things up for everyone. Sorry if I offended you or anyone else that truly depend on any type of med to help them through the day.

ok.... there is something it is called roxicet... or roxycontin.... 30 mg light blue or 15 mg green....and... my husband didnt like the new 20s so he got phentenal patches which are great!
