This medication is manufactured by Merck and they do have an assistance program for it to help those who are uninsured. You can call them to see if you're eligible at 866-840-5400.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, administration site reaction, headache, dizziness and flushing.
