Need Help With Unknown Pill Without Rx Bottle

found in back of drawer. Uncoated white, round pill about a quarter inch in diameter, slightly smaller than a dime. Its scored on the front with a F D split by a vertical line and numbers 553 on opposite side. I have no idea what these pills are..someone said the FD stands for Fort Dodge Animal Medical...I can't find it in any pill identification databases so I guess it makes sense if this is strictly animal medication. All help is greatly appreciated. Once again, pill imprints are FD on side 1, 553 on side 2

I was cleaning a rental house a found two white circular pills. I don't recall how big they were I just remember it was smaller than a dime. In thick black type it said E 55. The other side was blank. Please let me know if you what this pill is.

That is correct regarding the original post, it contains 300mgs Etodolac, sold under the name Etogesic, and is used to treat pain, fever, and inflammation in animals.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding.

This medication is also used in people, but being manufactured for pets, it might not be safe for a human to take.
