Need Help To Find A Doctor Who Can Prescribe Pain Medicine In Daytona Beach, Fl Area (Top voted first)

I just moved to Daytona Beach/Port Orange FL and need to find a reputable doctor who can work with my doctor to make sure I get the medication I have been taking for over 20 years. I suffer from severe, chronic pain due to Fibromyalgia, DDD, chronic migraines, sciatica, COPD, neck and ankle injury and rheumatoid arthritis without my medication I cannot function. I do NOT want to end up at a pill mill as I take my medication and condition very seriously. My doctor will refer me to the right doctor but cannot tell me which one to choose. I take Oxycontin CL and Dilaudid along with other medication I have no problems getting filled. I have a narcotic contract with my current doctor and want to stay on the same meds but need a Florida doctor to write them, working alongside my doctor. I do not want to be at PRC here, I am looking for an MD that can help me. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated. My medicine is running out and need help quickly. Thanks!!

Can you drive to Jacksonville once per month? If so, The Institute of Pain Management may take you. You need a printout of your Rx's for the last 6 months or so, a referral and copies of any imaging, like an MRI. Good luck.

Hi! I'm here in florida and in the event you see this- I looked up dr fruehan. He's about an hour from me but is he worth the drive? I went to the ER today for severe back pain on vacation. I have had it since 16 but haven't had a flare up like this in years. I need some pain medicine to survive my vacation and enjoy it of possible. This is a nightmare and I don't know if it's worth my time to try again. Any thoughts? Why is he a patients dream?
