Need Help In Florida
UpdatedI hurt my back while on vacation and a doctor said he could not prescribe hydrocodone, which is what my normal doctor gives me, because I am not a Florida resident.
Is this true everywhere or just with this doctor?

It is up to each individual dr in every state to decide if he wants to prescribe pain meds. There are no laws that say you must be a resident of a state before a dr can prescribe you pain meds or any other medication. The dr lied.
