Need Help. Should I Take Folbic With Calcitriol (Top voted first)

I had a thyroidectomy a year ago and developed Hypocalcemia because they damaged my parathyroids. I am on calcitriol 50mcg daily and 4000 of tums a day to stabalize it. My PCP did bloodwork that shows my B12 levels are low and I have been staying sick. She prescribed Folbic, but it says not to take it with other calium, doc says o.k. but I have had Hypercalcemia once and I need some advice. Is it safe to take this pill??

Is it safe to miss a week worth of dosage. Because I

I just need to know if if is safe to miss a week's worth
of medicine? The medicine is as follows:
FOLTEX or FOLBIC ACID!!!

It isn't that taking it with calcium supplements will put you in any danger, it is that it could reduce how much of the ingredients in the Folbic that you absorb. Thus, it is best to follow your doctor's instructions. But please make sure to keep all scheduled appointments for appropriate monitoring of your condition.

Folbic can cause some nausea, as a side effect, due to its potency.

Chris, you should try not to miss any, if you can avoid it, but nothing dangerous will really happen, as long as you aren't dangerously low in the nutrients that it contains.
