Need Advice On Withdrawal

I was on 45mg methadone and waited 72hrs after the last dose. Doctor started me on 4mgs of suboxone twice a day. Just took first dose in the AM. Sick as hell. Put me in withdrawal. Should I take the next dose??

If you weren't in full withdrawal, yet, then you shouldn't have taken the Suboxone. Taking it too soon can cause you to be thrown into precipitated withdrawals.

Have you consulted your doctor? It would be best to do so, in order to be sure of what you should do next.

The FDA classifies Suboxone as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

Has anyone else done this switch?
