Need A New Pain Management Specialist
UpdatedI was dropped from consultants in pain management due to my blood pressure being high twice within 10 days. I now am on new medication, 40 mg Lisinopril and my blood pressure is back to normal. This means, that I am in search of a new specialist. I am 63 years of age and still working after numerous surgeries from injuries that are all documented. I am leaving for Baltimore Maryland in a week but will need to have a prescription with me in order to perform my duties. Can anyone suggest a provider for me? Thank you in advance.

That is very odd, that's not a normal reason for them to dismiss someone, usually they give you a chance to see your primary care physician, or a cardiologist to get it under control.
How high was it? Can you post back with some of the readings?
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
