Hello. I am in NJ as well and have had a hard time finding a good doctor who will prescribe me what I need. Any luck? If so, please share.

Unfortunately, that's not one that you're likely to get. There have been new laws put in place regarding the use of certain narcotic medications and the treatment of patients requiring them.

Vicodin is being placed on a list to be mainly only used immediately after someone has had surgery or been in an accident for a short period of time.

And anyone requiring long-term treatment for chronic pain will have to start seeing a pain management specialist and most will be transitioned to the newer time released medications, such as Oxycontin, MS Contin and Opana ER.
