Need To Find A Pharmacy That Fills Subutex Asap!!! (Page 5)

I have been on subutex for 9 months now. But i have a very big problem next month k mart pharmacy will no longer carry subutex. I live in the tri cities in tn. I have called about 35 pharmacies around they either do not take new people getting subutex or do not carry it at all. I have no insurance i found 1 that cost 340 which is way more than the 215 i paid at k mart. Also some pharmacies I know only carry the small ones which to me do not work as good as the bigger ones. Huge difference. I go back on the 8th next month, so if there is anyone that knows of a good pharmacy in my area your help would be greatly appreciated.

Why is it so hard to fill subutex (54 411) now? All pharmacies won't take new people or they don't carry them.

What city are u in? I may be able to help u. I need to know where your at. Are you allergis to naloxane or have liver problems

I don’t understand all this!! I can’t believe it’s came down to the pharmacy being the ones to say we can’t have our meds. I’ve been scared something like this was gonna happen. I don’t understand why they want to take something that has made my life better. I haven’t touched anything since starting this medicine. I’m scared but I pray by the grace of God I can get thru it if I can’t get my prescription. This is unreal!

Can you please let me know what pharmacy you have found in MD? It's been about a week now. Also does that point marion clinic happily subscribe subutex? I live so close to there and drive out over an hour a way to just get to my doctor who gives me subutex without a hassle and haven’t had a problem until this month getting it filled all of a sudden no warning or notice and my doctor made me pay him first and then told me their pharmacy, that they have a contract with was out. Which already costed top dollar and wouldn’t accept savings cards. I am paying ridiculous amounts of money each month and they just stop with no help leaving me unwell on the verge of relapse and I can’t work sick like this.

Wow I didn't realize point marion had a clinic now. Amazing but the problem is still going to be finding a pharmacy to accept the script. Please let me know if you have any luck. I’m from there.

So in the past 30 days these are my personal findings; they are facts bc i've heard from doctors, clinics and a pharmacist's mouth to my ears. 1st had doctor switch to only pay clinics, mine is covered by medical, so new doc has me traveling 2hrs away. He has now changed everyone to suboxone, off subutex unless pregnant, breast feeding, HIV, hep, or had an allergist specialist backing up the allergy, which btw i do have, and pharmacies are doing the same. I'm now the only person out of the 30-40 clients he prescribes subutex to, but this still doesn't guarantee that a pharmacist will fill it. We also will now be required to submit to 2 script counts weekly, bc he only does weekly scripts at a time. So on top of stress of staying clean, now I have constant worry of not getting meds. Reason we r told this happened is because the demand and abuse of trx are as bad as dope, and other narcotics. SOO bc people are full of s*** n say they want to get clean has f****d others who r honestly wanting full sobriety. 1yr clean yesterday, and hopeful that others bs and screw ups wont affect me n my sobriety.

I have documentation from a med express from where I had to go there to be treated for an allergic reaction to suboxone. Will these be considered legit am entitled or will I have to suffer through another allergic reaction to prove what has already been proved??

Yes!! This is my problem right now and I have been looking everywhere to find out about it. I live in WV (not far from Stuebenville actually lol) and go to PA for my dr and pharmacy in Ohio. And as of the 15th of July they will not give out subutex and I'm trying to find more about it. Suboxone makes me sicker than a dog and I really can't take it but have no insurance so I'm paying out of pocket for all of it and not sure how this is going to work. My next dr appt is July 25th. I have my last script of subutex right now and to be honest am freaking out.

We will no longer be able to get Subutex in OH, WV, or PA. There have been crackdowns through the DEA so the pharmacies can no longer fill those prescriptions, only Suboxone. If you think I'm full of it, just call your pharmacy and ask. Everyone I know who is on this medication is experiencing this right now. I am from Ohio, my pharmacy was in PA. They will make exceptions if you have a letter from a board certified allergist (meaning you can't just claim to be "allergic", you have to actually get the tests done to prove it), or if you're pregnant/nursing, if you have been diagnosed HIV positive, and (at SOME places) if you have a letter stating you've been diagnosed with Hepatitis C.

St.clairsville Wal-Mart filled for my fiance, now they are having issues with dea so its hard to tell if they will fill, they state you have to have a doctor note stating you are allergic to suboxone, are pregnant, or hiv positive.
