I live in near Aurora, IL. west suburbs of Chicago PLEASE SOMEONE HAS TO KNOW A DR. AROUND AURORA, IL OR W/IN 10 MILES OR SO THAT WILL PRESCRIBE THE PAIN MEDS I NEED. I'VE TRIED AT LEAST 7 OR 8 DIFFERENT MEDS. THE NORCO10'S OR EVEN STRONGER (FEWER PER DAY) WORK PERFECT, NO SIDE EFFECTS. I'VE TRIED ALL THE OTHER NON NARCOTIC AND THEY DO NOT WORK OR I FEEL LIKE A WACK FROM DRUGS LIKE LYRICA. I don't want to be treated like some drug addict...JUST LOOK AT THE MRI FROM LAST WEEK.
I have had almost identical experiences. I have had endometriosis for 14 years, pelvic floor dysfunction, 2 major surgeries, 4 spinal injections and I don't want to do anymore because they don't work and I have to do it in order to get pain medicine. Next they want to try botox injections and I am not okay with that. I am also working with pelvic floor physical therapy which helps but until I have kids or a hysterectomy I need help. I shouldn't be forced to do a procedure to get help, or worse look to other means of pain relief.
He is permanently closed .dea must have shut him down
Dr montella in Elk Grove, Illinois. He is a surgeon and pain management doctor. He has you take a drug panel every visit and accepts Medicare. He doesn't care about marijuana being in your system. He told me he wishes Illinois would pass it for pain Management. Better on your body and works just as good.
What is this doctor's name? I have had endometriosis for 14 years an after 3 major surgeries and countless invasive procedures my doctor will not give me medication unless I keep up with the spinal injections and they dont work and they scare me.
Did u find a doctor that's what I was on now no doc will put me on it! Cuz I'm too young I'm 30 and 8 back surgeries!
I would like to thank you for helping me as well! I have several back issues due to 2 car acccidenta and (believe it or not) a really bad roller skating fall! So I do appreciate your advise on where to go and how might prescribe pain meds. DuPage Medical hasn't helped at all! I'm 54 and have scoliosis, degenerative disc deterioration...and still they won't do anything except tell me to go to physical therapy and walk more, like really? I've lost hope that I will ever be out of pain
I go to a doctor at dupage med group in Plainfield on 127th he gives me Norco morphine tramadol and oxycodone I am on disability and have a lot going on medically so it's not a problem for them
Rush Medical Center Pain Clinic in Chicago or Oak Park. Many specialists -- call to see who has opening. There are many other hospitals which have pain clinics too. Look up on Google, pain specialists with name of your city.
Can you please supply contact information of the doctor
You will have to go to a major medical center pain clinic, which means $$$ U/A's every 6 months to detect abuse of meds. It's the reality for chronic pain sufferers these days. Pendulum swung and independent docs are less likely to prescribe painkillers because of close scrutiny and also recent research. I totally disagree and have broken up with a PCP over this, debated with a pain specialist to no avail. You are more likely to be offered Tramadol short term, epidural injections, or pain pump type implant nowadays. I was switched to 24/7 Butrans pain patch, even though my pain is not 24/7. Doc says it's bad for pain receptors to vary daily amount of painkillers. None of the above is cheap. Doc says it would cost less to move to Palm Springs, Calif. dry desert climate where my pain disappears.
I'm looking for a dr. I have all my records. My pain doctor closed up in Palatine. Please let me know.
I'm in Chicago proper but will travel for the right PM doctor. After 9 yrs with my anesthesiologist, she literally disappeared last week ... I, along with her staff, am COMPLETELY confused. I have severe pain issues & am only in my mid 30s; I need someone who can help me quickly. Can provide all medical records. Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!
Where in naperville area are these obtained? I am in town for 4 months and out of my script; and absolutely MISERABLE Thanks
Do you have the name of that doct or. I have been going to dr jain in hinsdale for 2 years no problems. I was seen by physician assiatant monthly. Tesres monthly everything was fine. All of a sudden he fired all assistant and demands steroid injections and i am having mine in the morning but i am worried he is going to stip giving me my meds. I sont think mine are a lot or abusive. Norci 10 150 pills per month. And his hours changed necauae niw its just him in the office. I know something is going on. I keep having to miss work because he is only there 3 fays per week till noon. I need to find some one else before he cuts me off. I have a follow up scheduled in 2 weeks i guess thats when i will dind out but thwn i will b out of medication. Can you tell me your dr name i would like to tey ro het an appointment before its roo laye1
Is he still in business i thought they took his license away
I have papers from my previous doctor and my psychiatrist where is your doctor located
If you have your paperwork showing you get the meds you are looking for i can get you a doctor who will take care of you. My husband is currently on norco, adderall and xanax, and the doctor helped him get his marijuana card.
No doctor. It is an opioid not opiate. Only morphine (or forms of morphine and codeine are opiates). Anything hydro or oxy related is an opioid. People need to realize they are not experts unless they went to school for pharmacology or (sometimes) medicine, but even those guys mess it up a lot.
Clarification - my previous message was to Hurtin' Tim's regarding his original rant,
not anyone else.
I suspect docs sense you have a character flaw, to be polite. Why won't you get surgery, followed by PT? Also, why all the Ironman stuff if your body is hurting. Doesn't that tell you something? You are using Norco to get through pain, making physical problems worse, not fixing the cause. You want it your way. Not the type of patient that plays well with doctors. Have you considered Butrans Patch? You have to be open to change, healing, not just life as you know it.
