7 years ago I was prescribed Percocet 10 mg for a broken ankle and had no bad side effects. 3 weeks ago I was prescribed Percocet 5/325 with acetaminophen and I have been throwing up even after taking it on a full stomach. I talked to my Dr and he prescribed me zofran for the nausea and it does not help at all. My question is can the acetaminophen cause the nausea and vomiting?

It may be due to the Oxycodone, or the Acetaminophen, our bodies do change with time, so it's always possible to start experiencing a new reaction or side effect that we never experienced before.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Have you considered trying a different medication?
