Hi. I live in Los Angeles, USA and I would like to know about the availability of Neurobion 10,000 for a friend. I believe it comes in 3ml ampules for inj. and the package might say Hypak. Where can I find it at? There might be several sizes of needle that it comes with too. She needs the larger size because it makes the inj. less painful for her. Thanks for your help. ## Hello, Ron! How are you? Neurobion is not available in the U.S. The FDA classifies it as a nutritional supplement, so there are others that are available here. Some over the counter in tablet or powder form, and some that her doctor would need to prescribe. For the very potent ones, the most common side effect is nausea. What condition does she need to treat? ## Thanks for your answer. My friend has sciatica and says t...

I need to know what happens when you mis. Clarithromyc 550 & Ondansetron 8mg. This was prescribed for a friend and it says on the nausea pill it should NOT be taken with this antibiotic.... Help please... ## Hello, Dianne! How are you? Yes, that is correct, they should not be taken together. Doing so can increase the QT interval of the heart rhythm, which could be very dangerous. It may also increase he levels of Ondansetron that is absorbed. It would be best for this person to see their doctor and replace one of these medications. The antibiotic may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, headache and diarrhea. How is your friend doing? ## I do not know the side effects of this tab. Can somebody please explain it in detail?

This medication contains the active ingredients Telmisartan, Amlodipine and Hydrochlorothiazide. The FDA lists nausea, vomiting and gastric issues as possible side effects of it. You may also experience headache and dehydration. Did your doctor prescribe this?

Had a tooth pulled and was put on antibiotic, now I have a rash in the roof of my mouth. Should I go back to dentist? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? Yes, you should see your dentist or PCP, as soon as possible. The antibiotic may have caused an oral yeast infection that will require treatment, if that's the case. The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you, I will go tomorrow.

This medication says you should stay out of the sun, just wondering why? What would the side effects be if I was in the sun for a while? ## Most medications that tell you to stay out of the sun contain photo-toxic/light-sensitive chemical properties that may have an effect on your skin (possibly rash, or quickly sunburn, etc) if your in direct sunlight for a given length of time. Also one could experience nausea or headache from this. I'm not aware of any other possible side effects, but I would suggest wearing lots of high spf sunblock if you do go out in direct sunlight after taking the medication to help prevent any of this from happening. Or if you are able to do so, try and schedule to take this medication in the evening hours so you don't even have to worry about going out...

I was given medicine by a Chinese doctor after complaining of vomiting and stomach cramps. The pill is brownish orange and peach, oblong shaped and has HNSY printed on both ends. I am wondering if anyone can identify this medicine. I am particularly concerned whether or not there are any side effects and if it will interact with my birth control. Thank you!

Is it safe to take one tablet daily for any prolonged period of time? ## I'm 58 yrs old. I'm taking daily one tab before bed 0.5mg Stresnil for the last one year. Is it safe to continue? ## I have to be completely honest and say that it is not certain. Stresnil contains the active ingredient Azaperone and it is most commonly used for its sedative and antiemetic effects, but is rarely used in humans anymore and is not approved in most countries. Have you been medically advised to take it? ## What are the side effects of this medication? ## I have been taking Stressnil 0.5 tablets for a long time and the requisite dosage has been resulted in multifold increase of approx. 8 tabs/day. I have also been feeling like I'm dependent on the tablet. How can I give it up and what may be...

Which is better for the pain, methocarbam 750 mg, or cyclobenzapram 10 mg?. ## Hello, Robin! How are you? Neither of these medications are analgesics to relieve pain. These are both classified by the FDA as muscle relaxants, so they only help with pain that is caused by muscle spasming, such as that caused by sprains and strains. Their typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. And they are both effective medications, so it really comes down to which one works better for you. Which one has your doctor prescribed?

The green and white tablets are not effective. These new green and yellow capsules are not as effective as the white tablets with a V on them. What's up. If drug companies are cutting corners I will turn them in to the FDA for a full investigation. I get constant headaches and I MUST have a medicine that works ## Hello, Connie! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're getting headaches. Many people have said the same thing about these, they just don't seem to work as well for most people. However, it isn't that the manufactured is cutting corners, they are allowed to differ from the name brand in the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20%, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984. Thus, these ones may be a little lower than the others and too low t...

I have been in a zubsolve program for 6 weeks. Had to cxl today because I could not get out of work. I work 1 1/2 from the Dr office. I tried to reschedule for tomorrow and they said no. Can they do this? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you've run into. Sadly yes, they can do that. No doctor is obligated to treat you, unless you are in immediate life-threatening danger. They can refuse to reschedule or drop you as a patient for any reason they see fit. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

After taking smz/tmp for five days, I had severe nausea and pain. I went to the emergency room and found out I had pancreatitis & had my gall bladder removed. Can this cause pancreatitis? ## Hello, Vicki! How are you? Yes, pancreatitis can be drug induced and this antibiotic has been known to cause it, as listed among the possible side effects provided by the FDA. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea and non-allergic skin rash. I am not a doctor, so I can't definitively say that's what caused it, but it has happened. Are you on any other medications? ## No, I'm not on prescription meds, just aleve.

I have been on every statin invented, including fibrates etc!. All have caused severe muscle pain, nausea, loss of energy, actually, i could go on forever regarding side effects. Doctors opinion is usually that you are overreacting/imagining the severity of side effects, most doctors won't even admit that statins are the culprits ! I have read many reports into the benefits/dangers of taking statins and I'm beginning to veer towards the opinion that the benefits don't outweigh the risks! By the way, i cannot tolerate medications for high blood pressure either.I would like to say that I am a very active person and, i have also lost weight through exercise and diet. Still the cholesterol stays high! (8.2). I believe that personalised medication is not too far into the future, wou

Hello I have a question related to timing. I have been on the pill for 3 months because I was not getting a period. Doc. suggested it to get estrogen back into my system to stimulate my period, or just ensure that I would one day be able to get pregnant if I wanted too My issue is. I tend not to take the pill at the same time everyday. I generally take it between 7pm and 11pm. Doing this has not resulted in any negative drawbacks physically, Is taking the pill at a diff time ok? again I am not using the pill for protection against pregnancy, just taking it to get estrogen and the other compositions of the pill into my body. ## Hello, Doni! How are you? No, a window of a few hours is perfectly fine. They usually encourage you to take it at the same time every day to help you get in the h...

my i caps smell funny and sometimes they don't. was wondering if there has been a recall or something ? ## Hello, Diane! How are you? Are you referring to the vitamins manufactured by Alcon? I've not found anything about a recall, but they aren't actually required to report such things to the FDA. Have you tried contacting the manufacture? Which formulation are you taking? You can contact Alcon by calling them toll free at 800-757-9785. The FDA classifies this as a nutritional supplement and it may cause nausea, in some people that take it.
