Joint aches, headache, restless legs, can't sleep etc??? ## Hi Jonny, From what I've seen online, it appears that others have also inquired about this as well. And as far as Naproxen is concerned, many people tend to believe that it wont help much, if at all, when it comes to dealing with Tramadol withdrawal relief (since it's not in the same drug class and is also considered to be much weaker than Tramadol at that). My advice would be to look into what's called the "Thomas Recipe" at: personal.umich.edu/~timaster/biopsych/home.html This is said to be one of the most common methods used for an "at home detox" and seems to have gotten a lot of positive feedback in terms of helping alleviate Tramadol withd...
Taking mylan nifedipine er and teva naproxen 250 mg together alright? ## Hello, Doreen! How are you? No, it might not be safe for you to take any NSAID, if you have high blood pressure. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications can sometimes cause elevated blood pressure as side effects, along with fluid retention, which can further contribute to the problem, so you shouldn't take them, without your doctor's approval. Nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker that's most commonly used to teat hypertension and certain cardiac conditions, its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

Please tell me the shelf life of Naproxen Sodium 550 mg. Thank you, Druchel Haley ## Every prescription medication, sold in the U.S. must have a shelf life of a year from the original fill-date. Thus, if you had picked it up today, 08/23/2010, the expiration would be 08/23/2011. Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, used to treat pain and swelling. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Read more: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I was looking for the same answer and saw this. 36 Months is the shelf life for Naproxen, not 12. My naproxen was filled 7/2011. Is it ok to take now (10-2012)?. ## Hi Turtle, There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. But the question is whether or not the drug you have happens to be one of these drugs from the study... (I have not seen the list of...

I have been taking naproxen for heel pain but whilst on it i got a really bad dose of head cold and also took a cold and flue capsule. I experienced a tight chest( probably the cold ) and became a little breathless with exertion, so I stopped taking both. Doctor said I had a chest infection and gave me antibiotics. After my cold cleared up and i finished the course of anti biotics i started to use the naproxen again and once again noticed breathlessness. I have now stopped taking them as it is mentioned to be one of the side effects, I wonder how long does this drug remain in your system, as after 30hrs without them i still feel a little breathless. ## Hello, Jackie! How are you doing? No, it shouldn't still be causing it that long after taking it. Have you ever had high blood press...

The information says they only need to be stopped for 48 hours, before any such sample is given. However, it depends on what specific tests are being ordered, so you may want to check with your doctor, or the lab, as you may not have to stop taking it. Is there anything else I can help with?

I took 15 naproxen and 4 Tylenol last night and I feel fine. I'm just scared I caused permanent damage to my body, what should I do? ## You should report this to your doctor, as soon as possible.
