Naproxen Still Good After Two Years?
UpdatedPurchased ALEVE 12 Hours Softgel Caps two and a half years ago. Are they still good?

What is the expiration date on the package?
You should always go by that, because medications do tend to lose effectiveness over time and the gel caps may actually turn bad, so if they are expired, you should just dispose of them.
The FDA classifies this medication as a NSAID and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding.
