New Oxycodone Restrictions, Effective June 1st!!
(Newest replies first)

Just an FYI - the Walgreens on 436 (Altamonte Springs) finally got oxycodone 30mg in today, after waiting 3+ weeks for them...BUT, as of June 1st they have a new restriction - they now have a 15mile radius, or was it 5mile, where they will no longer fill Rxs if your ID address is not within that radius...I've been going to this pharmacy for 2 1/2 years and today I was refused...this is the ONLY pharmacy I've found that even has it and the Pharmacist, who has assisted me many times in the past, was not budging on this new "rule"...so they are making it more and more difficult to get oxycodone scripts filled...and a customer ahead of me was given a hard time because he didn't have a long-acting, or extended release, medicine to go along with the short-acting...so this is another new restriction as of the 1st of June....unbelievable!

I don’t understand, I go to the ER, and a doctor was giving every pain medicine to this beautiful rich girl, who said her back hurt a little! Then a older lady comes in with a kidney stone, and wasn’t given pain medicine??? So goes to still show you, if you are pretty, very liked, or know someone you this won’t be for you.... makes me so mad!
Hello, i too fill at This pharmacy (436 and wymore rd) and i know there was a june 1st rule put into effect but i feel your info is inaccurate. My ID address is orlando, but my doc office is less than a mile from this walgreens. I never have an issue here. The strict male pharmacist always fills my 120 30mg oxys with no issues and i dont have a long acting med with it. Thats just a rumor. They turn away suspicious people who look like drug addicts and have been more tight with who they fill for. Shot out woman in front of me was tolr they were out of 30s then he filled mine. I dont know what the rules are but ive heard they take into account your age, and docs rep. Only fill for docs who take insurance supposedly. But i hear so many rumors i dont listen anymore.
