Need Help Finding A Pharmacy To Fill Dr. Bynes Prescriptions (Page 3) (Top voted first)

I live in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. Diagnosed suffering from Degenerative Disc Disease, with Cervical Radiculopathy (one bulging disc) and Lumbar Radiculopathy (two bulging discs). These spinal problems are diagnosed by three (3) recent CAT Scans, with radiologist analyses. And yes, I have ALL of the CAT Scan CDs, and radiologist reports. I went to Frank Howard Bynes, M.D., a retired trauma surgeon, and practicing internal medicine M.D., here in Savannah, Ga, for help with severe pain control. I was written valid prescriptions for: Roxicodone 30 mg; Dilaudid 8 mg; Xanax 2 mg; Fentanyl 100mcg/hr transdermal patch; Soma 350 mg; Neurontin 800 mg. ALL, YES ALL local pharmacies, will NOT honor ANY of these prescriptions. I was a previous patient of David M. Nelson, M.D. here in Savannah, March 2010 to March 2013, and had to endure this same B.S. then, also. This medical community, with the exception of Dr. Bynes, refuses to help me- Where is their Hippocratic Oath allegiance??? I cannot work, nor even function normally each day, because of the severe pain. I have been living off of the proceeds from the Workman's Compensation settlement I received in October 2012, from the accident at Georgia Port Authority in October 2009, here in Savannah. About out of money now, and have no income. I need help with pharmacy information.

Yes, please do find another Dr. That is very unsafe medication prescribing. People are dying from taking this amount of narcotics.

I have refills also for a script that I was waiting to get filled when they came into Dr Bynes' office and closed him down. I'm saying that my Pharmacy has refused to fill my scripts.

I beg to differ with you but the earlier posted link to the state licensing board confirms that his license was voluntarily surrendered. MY pharmacy (Express Scripts on Derenne) would NOT honor remaining refills because he no longer holds a valid medical license. I wish I was wrong but I'm not.

If this doctor is being busted and investigated by the DEA, why would any of you want to go back to him? He has obviously lied and told conflicting stories to many patients. He takes your money and writes out bogus prescriptions he knows you will not be able to fill. That is called Theft by Deception!

Yet everyone is holding their breath, waiting for this man with wonderful ethics to come back to be their doctor? He must give out lots of really good drugs. It's going to be sad when/if he comes back, and he has to start prescribing by the Standards of the Law. You will all be scrambling to find a new doctor. SMH

He should have been shut down just for trea ting you for multiple issues he has no specialty in. You should have been seeing the specialist you really needed.

Not judging anyone, just stating the obvious.. Don't know the doc, but feel bad for the folks that have to find a new pm doc asap, cause that sucks. Do I wear a robe? Hi.
Been there done that. When my doctor was busted all pharmacies were alerted not to fill any prescriptions with his name on it. So I'm sure that is what's going on here meaning no one will fill this guy's prescription no way Jose. But good luck.

From what I've heard, Dr Bynes was busted and went to jail. his prescriptions are now as worthless as used toilet paper. We have not been able to find a new doctor.

Thanks for your reply, Chronic Pain Sufferer. This situation definitely sucks. I also was considering checking out Florida, but I am so angry, I just decided to do it next week. But, you gave me the heads up- another door closed. I am going to try something tomorrow, Saturday. I think it may PARTIALLY WORK. I actually did, on Wednesday, July 27, find a local pharmacy, which stated to me via telephone, they WOULD fill the Soma, Fentanyl, and Neurontin prescriptions, BUT REFUSED TO FILL THE ROXICODONE, DILAUDID, AND XANAX. Now that was Tuesday, not tomorrow Saturday. I am going to present myself in person to them, and talk with them tomorrow. You know, at this time, them filling the three, is better than NOT filling all six. If they will fill the three, then possibly after a while, my being their customer, they will begin to fill the others. And also, possibly I can have the Xanax, a Schedule IV, through the internet. But I know, NO ONE will fill Schedule II over the internet. I will keep you posted, whether or not l meet with any success.

Dear Mike. Again I would suggest that you make a robust attempt to make a conservative effort to tailor your medication regenine to perhaps two medications, like Fentanyl patches and Neurontin or Dilaudid, Carisoprodol and Neurontin. In ny opinion. no doctor will write all of these medications unless you are terminally ill with severe bone pain or some intractable pain issues like this. I do understand your issues and your pain management issues, but because of the CDC has issued these killer regulations that have scared doctors to death, a conservative approach of less is more may meet your needs more effectively. You have absolutely nothing to lose. The path you are on, unfortunately. will not get you anywhere, except to be labeled as a doctor shopper and medication seeker and to be flagged as that in the computer system, a huge dead end. Hi, sorry to hear about your problems filling your medicines. I know the feeling of being in pain while the pharmacies tell you what they will and won't fill. It is pure torture. He's prescribing narcotics barbs and amphitimines to s married couple and son in law ALL in the same house and he thinks they take them he should be shut down pill mill

Hmmmm...... Sounds like your friend should just say no!!! If your friend told the doctor that it seems like your giving me too much, well then your friend didn't have to take all of it!!! Im sure ur friend is a big boy/girl so they didn't have to fill and take all the pain pills!!! Stop blaming doctors only.... The patient is responsible also!!! Basically tell ur friend to stop taking drugs and stop blaming everyone else because they are what is called an addict!!!

Information posted is correct. DEA came in made patients leave after searching them, confiscated money, patient files, etc from office and closed the doors. Post new location of bynes when somebody gets it. I saw him on Sept 19th and all was good. Thank goodness I went ahead and filled.

I talked with a friend of mine to try to help with the stress of pain. I know I don't really like talking too much about it to those that don't go through what I do because I don't want to make it seem like I'm complaining and want sympathy from them, but others that are in pain will know what it's like and can speak freely. Going through pain constantly and of the hassle of meds can be very stressful no matter how tough you are.
