My Pharmacy Is Closed On My Fill Date

If my fill date is for Sunday the 29th but my pharmacy is closed on Sunday, can I get them the day before since they aren’t open on the fill date and I will run out?

You should be able to, but it may also depend on what type of medication it is, many pharmacies are very strict about controlled substances, and require them to be filled the very day they are due. But it doesn't hurt to ask them to find out, the worst they can say is no.

We've yet to have a pharmacy refuse, but our medications are mostly maintenance for blood pressure, heart issues, asthma, and epilepsy, so we don't have anything on the real controlled list, so to speak.

When it comes to most other medications, which aren't controlled substances, you can usually get them filled several days early, to ensure you don't out. The FDA and DEA does approve of such things.
