My Oxycodone Pills Look Like They Got Wet

I have oxycodone 10’s (5 of them) and it looks like they got wet or something. The imprint is kind of faded. I can barely see the numbers and it didn’t take the pain away like it usually does. My question is, what could it be? Could they have gotten wet or is it a bad batch from the pharmacy?

Hi Red,

Sorry to hear about your situation.

In my opinion I think you should contact your primary care physician since the pills are not working for you in the way that they normally do and explain the situation. Considering your pills are still in tact and the imprint is still legible he/she may be willing to refill your script or exchange them so that you are not taking partial doses of your medication.

I suppose ultimately it would come down to your opinion of if the pills are still providing you with enough relief to continue taking them or if you feel the need to have the pills made whole.
