My Insurance Will Pay For 150 Dilaudid Pills Script Is 180
UpdatedI have my usual script for 180 dilaudid pills. My insurance will only pay for 150. Usually they run it for 180 and i have to pay for 30 pills out of pocket. This time they said they could not do it I had to pay 300 for the full 180 pills and they would not bill insurance for the 150 at all. How were they able to do it before but not this month.

It may depend on your insurance, or the pharmacy policies. Which pharmacy do you usually use? Which insurance company do you have? It is really hard to say, without knowing this additional information.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, and dry mouth.
You may need to ask your doctor to write 2 different prescriptions, one for what your insurance will cover, and another for the additional pills. Though I am not sure what the legalities of that would be.
