Sorry to hear about what happened. How has your baby been doing since they ingested the tablet? Any strange side effects or unusual changes in behavior to take note of? In any case, I would just encourage you to contact your prescribing doctor and/or call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222 first and foremost, in order to accumulate additional opinions on the matter. I'd like to think that your 16 month old would be fine in the long run after its effects wear off, but due to the nature of this drug's indications it sounds like it would also be a good idea to assess potential risk factors by researching the drug's side effect profile to know what to watch for.
Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
