That is correct, this tablet contains 30mgs of regular release Oxycodone, the active ingredient in Roxicodone, this is a narcotic pain reliever.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness.

I am very sorry to read of what you are going through and the way you are feeling.

It sounds like you are suffering from some type of neuropathy. Have your doctors given you a diagnosis?

Have they had you try any of the medications that can specifically help with that type of pain?

There are several on the market, the most commonly used is Gabapentin, it is an anticonvulsant that has been proven effective at helping with certain types of neuropathic pain:

I am disable due getting hurt on job 10 years ago. I stay in pain 24/7 even on meds. any way im on the oxycontin 60mg twice a day and cents they changed it from oc. to op.it does not help any longer.my question is i have been told by other people on pain meds that the roxycodone will help me better then the op.does any one no if this is ture if so i have to be on pain med for ever cents the roxy is not time release should i even think of changing.and do they make 60mg in the roxy.thanks for any help im tired of being in pain all time on the oc. i wasnt but the new op.i am all the time. any ideals. thanks Rick

Rick, no, there is not 60mg of the regular release Roxicodone tablets, it is only available in 5, 15 or 30mg tablets.

However, there are other time released formulations on the market that you may want to discuss with your doctor.

On of them would be the Duragesic patch, that contains the narcotic Fentanyl as the active ingredient, it is available as both a generic and name brand.
