I've been taking Methadone for over 10 years. Recently I've noticed some days it tastes like the Methadone red and some days tastes like a cherry flavored cough syrup (e.g. Tussionex)? Could the nurses be tampering with my medication? I'm sick of all the clinic's B.S. ......In Philadelphia...A.M.H.A.

Is it still working for you, regardless of the flavor? If so, then I doubt anyone is tampering with it. They may just use different flavoring sometimes.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? I know not everyone receives red Methadone liquids.
