My Focalin 5mg Capsules Were All Almost Empty When Picked Up

I picked up a prescription for 5 mg Focalin and the capsules were almost empty they were not even a quarter of the way filled (you could almost count how many little beads were in there and every single one was like that I know that only the bottom half of the capsules are full when you open them usually I'm not talking about both sides being only reason that I open them is because I take them with apple sauce) ) I brought them back to the pharmacist and he wouldn't open one because he said it would be tampering with the medicine all he did is Shake the 1 capsule?? but I said why wouldn't they just use a smaller capsule? I've had all different strengths of Focalin 20,30,40, and I've never had an amount that wasn't full up to the top of the bottom part of capsule b4 u open it Focalin or any other type of capsule I've ever got there basically filled to the top of the size of the capsule they should be in smaller for the lesser strength and obviously bigger for the higher strength they have smalIer sized capsules than what I got so I don't understand they were almost empty They were made by Teva and were bright blue I took a picture of it but did not save them. I don't know if anybody ever had that problem or how much is in them sure somebody would have question it. full because there was a smaller dose they usually just give you a smaller capsule so I don't know if they were tampered with it will probably never know because I just told the doctor to give me 30 mg instead of me taking 2capsules a 20mg.& a 5mg.

The size of the capsule and the amount of beads in them really means nothing, it depends on what any given manufactured chooses to use, as well as their chosen inactive ingredients, so they can vary from one company to another.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, insomnia, anorexia, and irritability.

What are the markings on the capsules in question? Can you please post back with this information? If so, I will gladly research more information for you, and post back when I have an answer.
