Muscle Pain From Gabapentin ?

I have been on gabapentin for a about 4 months. Just in the past 4 weeks I have noticed horrible muscle pain in both legs (taking the med for nerve pain in left leg). I don't see the pain doctor until after Christmas, so was wanting to know if anyone else has experienced this, yet another, pain.

Hi, I'm on warfarin for life which I've been on since 2011. Thing is, I keep getting a pain in one spot on my leg and I'm worried sick! I've started a Gym so I'm bound to hurt but, I'm worried in case it's another clot? My INR results have been brilliant. They're not seeing me now till January. Have I got something to worry about?

How do you know your leg muscle pains are from Gabapentin? It could possibly be due to your nerve pains and/or caudation of the circulation, which causes bad leg pains. Ask you GP about it.

@ Linda,

You're very welcome, It must be difficult to understand what's going on with your body when you have to be on so many medications. I sure hope the spinal cord stimulator helps! I'm here to help if you need any more advice.

I have been taking 1200mg of gabapentin for about 6 month, which i was having some pain and swelling. Then they increased to 1800. and then started having major swelling, and alot more pain. i have also gained more than 35 lbs from gabapentin.

Thank you for the info. I take so many meds it might
be hard to decide which one might be causing this new
pain. I am having a spinal cord stimulator put in after the first part of the year. I am hoping I can get off all meds after that:)
