Muscle Pain Due To Hydralazine?

My muscle pain in legs, arms and shoulders has increased lately, and I realized it coincides with the increasing dosage of hydralazine. I get the same pain with statins, but this is worse. I have pinched nerves, but this seems to have come on suddenly with the meds. Could I be right?

I've been on this dose for about three months, and symptoms seemed to be getting worse. Doctor says that it couldn't be this med, and he does not want to switch my meds, only reduce it by 1/3. On my own, I cut my meds in half five days ago and I see improvement already.
Yes, it can cause these symptoms as a side effect, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
How long have you been taking this dosage? Side effects are usually transient and will go away once your body gets used to the medication, but that could take about 4 to 5 weeks. If they don't improve, after that time period, you may need to try a different medication.
How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
