Multaq And Gastroparisis

Updated April 21, 2015

I have been on Multaq for 5 months. Besides the extreme hair loss, I was just diagnosed with gastroparisis. Since the stomach has an electrical system like
the heart, I am wondering if the Multaq is slowing down the stomach causing the gastroparisis. Has anyone else had this problem with Multaq

Hello, Sandy! How are you?

No, they really aren't that similar and the FDA doesn't list gastroparesis in the detailed side effect profile. They typically include symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, headache, cough and heart burn.

Are you on any other medications? Have you changed your diet, recently?
