Mucinex D And Hctz

Is there a harmful interaction between Mucinex D (Guaifenesin/Pseudoephedrine HCI) and HCTZ (hydrochlorothiazide). I take HCTZ for high blood pressure, but would like to take Mucinex D for nasal/sinus congestion.

What is your normal blood pressure level?

The Pseudoephedrine can cause elevated heart rate and blood pressure, so it may not be safe for you to take it. Have you checked with your doctor to see what's safe for you?

Are on any other medications?
