Ms Contin Er 30 Mg

Can anyone tell me what 30 mg of morphine er would be equivalent to if it were taken with alcohol? I read if you drink with morphine er it could release the entire pill into your system. I didn't know this when I was drinking beer with it. Thanks.

No, I am not aware of any issues like that. However, drinking alcohol while taking it should generally be avoided, due to the fact that it can potentiate some of the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, drowsiness and dizziness than usual, as reported by the FDA.

It is also warned that MS Contin carries the risk of being habit forming.
