Moxifloxacin Wrong Prescription

I recently had a sore throat, cold and fever. I found an old pack of my husband's Moxifloxacin 400 mg and on the first day I took two, on day 2, I took one dose. Then I looked up Moxifloxacin to make sure it was a bd dose, not od. Turns out the whole medicine was wrong. I felt dizzy a couple of times on both days. Should I stop takin it? Or continue once a day for 5 days??

You should definitely consult your doctor, this is a very potent antibiotic that can cause some serious side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and diarrhea, as reported by the FDA.

It is never a good idea to try to self-diagnose and take a medication that has not been prescribed for you. Please allow your physician to prescribe an appropriate medication, if one is necessary.
