Mounjaro Side Effects Based On Injection Site?

Hi, everyone. I've been on 5mg dose of Mounjaro for 2 months and have lost about 15 pounds. I love the way I have less desire for food, less craving, and I especially love how I know when to stop eating during a meal. I don't experience side effects unless I inject into my abdomen. Then, within 2 days, the burps and diarrhea start. When injected into my thigh, no bad side effects. Is this true for anyone else?

When I rotate injection sites, including my abdomen, I don't notice differences.

But, at first I was always injecting on the right side of my belly button for a while (not sure but maybe 2 or 3 months). And at one point, I felt a slight pain in my abdomen, then my lower abdomen swelled up. Don't know if coincidence or contributing factor, I had taken 1/2 to 1 tums each morning for about 4 or 5 days. And my poop turned bone white. Either injecting in the same spot caused unknown existing issues to be exposed, or caused something to happen.

CT Scan showed what looked to be Meckel's diverticulum (a little dead end extension off the intestine due to umbilical cord connection not closing fully). Swelling was abdominal guarding which the body does to protect an injured area. Not sure really the exact thing that happened as the cause and exact issue was never fully diagnosed. It went away when I stopped antacids and rotated injection sites. Have taken antacids at other times and no white poop. May have been a clogged biliary duct which may have occurred with swelling caused by repeat use of the same injection site. As a guess from someone with no medical knowledge. And the Meckel thing often occurs without symptoms for those who have it. Haven't had an issue with it in the 3 years since.

Not at all conclusive, but I can see how injection site might matter for some people. and they probably have reasons for telling people to rotate injection sites, even if they don't disclose all of them (just a possibility, not an actual accusation of that particular issue).
