SHE IS A RECOVERING HEROIN ADDICT AND I DONT KNOW IF I BELIEVE HER ## No, the Citalopram in Celexa hasn't been known to cause false positives for anything. Learn more Celexa details here. Usually for a positive to turn up for an opiate, someone has to have taken an opiate of some type. I realize this may upset and worry you, but it is the truth. For instance, someone may get a false positive for Morphine if they've taken Oxycodone, but not if they only took Tylenol. Is she in rehab? ## I take celexa an i'm on probation so i get ua's , i've never had it mess with me like that.
Would my doctor switch me to an Oxy ER instead of the Morphine 30 ER . I'm also on 4 30ml Oxycodone The morphine makes me so sick but don't know if he will frown upon giving me 2 scripts for Oxycodone ## Hello, Susie! I'm sorry, I just answered your other post, but you didn't have the detail about nausea in that one. It would be best to just discuss the problem with your doctor and see what solutions they offer, rather than asking for a specific medication as an alternative. Many doctors view that as being drug seeking behavior. If the Morphine works well for your pain, they may be able to just prescribe something to treat the nausea. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsines...
After an ectopic pregnancy which burst which led me to almost bleed to death, my Dr. told me that I had a deathly reaction to Morphine and that I needed to wear a bracelet that says I am allergic to it. I don't know what kind of reaction I had, as I was in very bad condition and in the hospital for quite a long time. What kind of reaction could morphine have caused, and are there other medicines that I should be cautious of? ## If it was that severe, it was most likely an allergic reaction that led to anaphylactic shock, but you'd need to check with the hospital to be sure. However, that's usually the worst type and the one they want you to wear a bracelet to warn about, because it could be fatal and subsequent exposures to the allergen tend to worsen each reaction. Yes, the...
What is different between IR and ER? I want to take pill and go to sleep with dreadful migraine headache due to the weather. ## Hello, Laura! How are you? IR stands for immediate release and ER stands for extended release, so an IR medication is released immediately, as opposed to an ER, which is slowly released over a period of time. But you shouldn't take either one, unless your doctor has specifically prescribed them for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Morphine details here. Is there anything else I can help with?
My dad is a cancer patient and has been prescribed this medicine and cannot find it at any pharmacies in South Miami, Florida. We have been to them all . Can you help him find a pharmacy or give us any numbers to call? Thank you! ## I am so sorry that your dad is having trouble finding his medication, that's awful. However, there is a shortage right now, due to several reasons, so it may take awhile to find it. Has he contacted his doctor? They may be able to prescribe an alternative medication he could take in the meantime, or a different dosage.

I take 2 Tylenol #4 daily for shoulder impingement , reflex sympathetic dystrophy and back pain. Went thru the whole pain mgmt thing years ago. Over 15 yrs I have been on morphing sulfate twice, the last time about 18 mo ago. Went back to a lesser med, Tylenol #4 w codeine that worked better. Nothing else in 18 mo. Drug test for a study came back with positive for morphine sulfate. Reading all these questions it sounds to me to be a serious lab testing issue. Maybe if we started filing lawsuits something would happen. It's bad enough that people who are truly in pain feel stigmatized by society because they have to take "pain pills ." But, it's even worse to be be falsely accused if taking something you didn't !?

i am on zormorph 60mg,and oramorph,my pain limit is still very poor, i was wondering if dyimorph would help better .my pain is due to 2 back ops in 2000 and now i cant walk well at all ## Are you aware that you are on a very low dose of opiates? I take 2000mgs of Zomorph - 5 X 200mgs in morn and eve. Diamorphine is a lot shorter acting, and is very expensive. Explain you're situation to Dr and ask for your dose of at least the Zomorph to be doubled (1 in morn and 1 before bed). Oramorph comes in different strengths and as your on low dose of Zormorph I'd expect your Oramorph to also be a low strength. Oramorph in low strengths is not very good for you're type of pain. Please don't go on Diamorphine it's so addictive and as time goes on, you'll need more and more ...
