I take 15mg of MS sulfate ER 1 two times a day I had to reduce to this dose as I had hives itching and was miserable on 30mg 1 two times a day. Now whenever I swallow the morphine it burns my throat and I end up with my throat feeling swollen and very hoarse. If I try not to take it Im in trouble also. General practice doctors will not be able to prescribe it for you. And if you go in asking for a specific medication, they will view that as being drug seeking behavior. It's just another form of Oxycodone, so they can be prescribed together and often are, but I have no way of knowing what your doctor will or will not do. Wow, that's a lot of Norco to take each day and well over the FDA limits for daily intake of Acetaminophen. They limit it to just 3,000mgs, due to the dangers of overdose toxicity, which can be fatal and possibly liver damage or failure. Is your doctor aware that you're taking that much? As to the Morphine, it is equivalent 1 for 1 to the Hydrocodone in the Norco, so each 30mg tablet is the same as taking 3 of the Norco and you shouldn't take more or take them more often, than your doctor has prescribed. I am still trying to find a Dr. who will take over my Pain management contract in Arizona. I live in South Scottsdale. I have been in Pain Management for over 5 years because I am on a high dose of medication no Dr. wants to help me. If anyone out there can help me please. I was told my Dr. he was retiring In Dec. they gave his patients 3 week notice. I did find a Dr. he was willing to take me on as a patient. Hi, I will be moving soon from Las Vegas, NV to Victorville, CA, & I need a doctor who will prescribe 180 Morphine Sulfate IR pills a month-I take 6 30 mg MSIR pills a day. I have 2 torn discs in my back, & nothing took away the pain except for the MSIR. I used to take the ER as well, but I have weaned completely off of the ER. I was taking OxyContin 80 mg twice a day it is now no longer on my formulary the doctor switched from oxy to morphine extended release morphine extended release is the dark blue oblong pill generic version . What doses do morphine patches come in and do morphine patches actually exsist. ## Hi. I know there is a strong opiod patch called Fentenyl. The available dose varies and I was told that this is the strongest form of opiod available. I was prescribed for a while and the patches last for 48-72 hrs before you need to change to a new one. Very easy to tale and I felt the least amount of paincompared to other types. I read an article on-line that said methylparaben and bisacodyl are ratio-morphine ingredients in Dulcolax tablets. How many milligrams are released per hour in a 30mg morphine ER pill? ## Hi Nickie, I don't know if this will suffice as an exact answer to your question, but one manufacturer of Morphine ER (Endo Pharma) has an article stating that after 1.5 hours following administration of Morphine ER, 50% of it is absorbed. Based on this info alone, I would anticipate 10mgs out of 30mgs being released/absorbed within an hour's time. After that point however, I'm not sure what its release rate would look like over a period of 12 hours. This is very common with generics, it creates market competition to help keep prices lower. The one with the ABG marking is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and the one with the MS M 15 on it is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals, but both contain 15mgs of Morphine in an extended release formulation. Regular pain managment doctor left the Río Grande Valley (Brownsville Texas 78520) área to Fort Worth Tx and i cannot find another pain managment doctor to prescribe my regular meds which are hydrocodon 10/325 and morphine 60 mg.
