Hello, Sarge! How are you? Welcome to the Internet, where keyboard warriors abound to slay you with caps lock, and almost everyone believes everything they read on Facebook, without fact checking it. :D

That said…

Yes, it will take some time, if you stopped the Hydrocodone cold turkey to switch to Morphine, there are two issues that will cause your body to have to adjust. One is, of course, the change from one medication to another, which can cause some minor withdrawal effects, as reported by the NIH, and they can include rebound pain. The other is that you are going from a medication that was released, all at once, within 15 to 20 minutes of taking it, to a medication that is slowly released over a period of 12 hours.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

And please accept my sincere thanks for serving your country and helping to keep us free!

Is there anything else I can help with? If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask, I'm happy to help, if I can!
