Morphine Extended Release 15mg And Migraines

I have been taking morphine ER 15mg for 3 years and hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325. I've also suffered from migraines for about 20 years. I get about 12 migraines a month. In the last couple of months I have noticed an increase to 20 a month, so I stopped taking my meds for 5 days and they seem to be better. So should I talk to my doctor about this?

Yes, that would be a good idea, I think. Most opiates carry the risk of causing side effects, including headaches, according to the FDA, as well as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and constipation.

But any time you experience worsening headaches, or more frequent ones, you should have it checked out to be careful.
