you'll be fine....just don't give up those 6 30mgs of Oxy.....I doubt you still get a script like that now? A doctor in 2021 would never write like that?

Yes, the fentanyl patch will work on you, since you have a high tolerance your doctor will probably start you at 100 mcg,
For one, are you on an extended release 30 mg 60 mg or 80 mg extended release oxycodone along with your instant release 30 mg oxycodone? I recommend that before you try to fentanyl. I got injured in 2000 and I've been on every pain medication known to man. If you switch to the fentanyl make sure he keeps you on an instant release medication for breakthrough pain as you will need it sometimes to take the edge off that fentanyl will not do. The fentanyl patch gives a steady release of roughly 48 hours. Here in Florida because of the heat, the fentanyl is a slow time release over a 48 to 72 hours depending on your body temperature and how much time you're in the heat sweating. If you're inside all the time in air conditioning it will release over 72 hours. The trick is everybody's a little different and reacts to it differently. I've never posted on this site before. I was looking up Fentanyl patches not working and found this page.
The only effects morphine has on me is causing my body and bones heaviness and to ache. It's a miserable drug. Fentanyl doesn't cut my pain by much but it doesn't cause me extra pain so I guess that's a plus...
Hello, Nathan! How are you?
Fentanyl is the strongest available, it's over 80 times stronger than Morphine. Your doctor will most likely have you start at the 25mcgs or 50mcgs dosage, since it's so potent to see how it works for you.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
