That is correct, it means the medication starts to be released in your body immediately, as soon as you swallow it.

There are 3 formulations of Morphine available, the immediately release, the regular release that usually takes 15 to 20 minutes to start working and a time released that is slowly released over a 12 hour period.

And the bio availability in the immediate release is horrible. Meaning you may only get maybe 5% of the pill. That's way some people plug them, it's like 90% bio availability meaning you will get most of the medication.

What exactly do you mean by "plug them" I've been on the 15's Imediate release for 4 years & 2 of the 60's extended release. I mainly only have the bio in the morning. So instead of having to turn around & take another, what "is it" U recommend?
