The main concern using these two together is that they can both cause central nervous system depression.

This means they lower your heart rate, blood pressure and respiratory rate. They can be used, together, but you do have to know to watch for this.

Morphine is a narcotic and its side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation.

Ambien contains the active ingredient Zolpidem and it used to treat short-term insomnia.

Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, hallucinations and short-term memory loss.
