Morphine Oral Sol 10mg 5ml

I have a liquid morphine that i was given by my doctor, the only thing is i am concerned in taking it because the color of it is blue. The last i got was a clear color. Can you help me understand what i was given?

Hi Patty,

The color of a medication doesn't usually have anything to do with its formulation. This one could possibly be from a different manufacturer, or flavored. As long as it contains the same amount of ingredients as the last one you had, you should be just fine. If it really concerns you, you can always ask your doctor or a pharmacist.
