Mono-linyah Cause Break Through Bleeding And Bloating

So this is my first month taking Mono-linyah. I usually take Previfem but they didn't have it. Well the pharmacy had the Mono-linyah ready a day later than they were supposed to so when I got the pack (on a Tuesday instead of a Monday). I took the missed pill asap (I took it less than 1 day late) and then the pill that was supposed to be taken that day and have been taken them regularly since. My fiance and I had intercourse 1 to 2 days before I started the pack. I also had some light pinkish/brownish spotting after I doubled up on the pills. Could this spotting be break through bleeding? I am also almost done with the 3rd week in the pack and also feel bloated.

It can be a normal side effect, according to the FDA, to experience some spotting, when you double up on pills, or miss one. You may also experience nausea, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms.

However, there is no harm in checking for pregnancy, if you're concerned.
