Mono-linyah And Extremely Heavy Periods

I've been taking Mono-linyah for about 2 months. I've been having extremely heavy periods and they stop for maybe 3 days and they are right back throughout the blue and white pills. Its to the point that I'm about to try something else. Normally my period lasts about 3 to 4 days and its gone. I've tried the Depo shot but had a bad problem with weight loss due to it. Is there any b/c pill that more or less stops your period? I know its natural but I'm a very active person working 6 days a week with how painful its been some days its hard to even be standing straight up

Hello, Tamara! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you're experiencing.

Those types of issues can be normal for the first 3 months or so, of taking a new oral contraceptive, but with the pain being that bad, it could very well mean this isn't the right one for you to take. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, headache and irritability.

There are some that allow you to have fewer periods a year, so you may want to ask your doctor about trying one of them, one of them is called Seasonique.
