Modafinil (provigil) Has Helped Me

I have been using Modafinil (provigil) for a little over a year now, I work a night shift and it's hard for me to adjust back to the living world on my days off until a buddy told me about modafinil. It has really changed my life, I am no longer a Zombie on my days off and it really keeps me focused on the many projects I work on on my days off. How has your experience been with this medication?

Hello, Wizarddrm! How are you? I'm glad that this medication is working so well for you.

Many people have found it effective at helping with shift work sleep disorder. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and insomnia.

Can anyone chime in with experiences taking it?

I just found this message. I've been on Modafinil for a couple of years now and it helps me so much.

You're not supposed to take it every day all the time. They say three weeks on, one week off. Unless the manufacturer has changed the directions. I found this out by research, not from my doctor.

I have chronic fatigue and fibromyagia with a few other chronic issues which all seem to add to the fatigue. There is no other drug available if this quits working which is why I'm so careful with it.

Hope this helps someone. Double check what I found out. If this has changed please post the new dosing requirements.
