Mixing Narcotics

I am taking take 30 mg morphine extended release tablets for shingles and lower back surgery. Can you also take Vicodin for pain In between 12 hour tablets?

Yes, you can do so, as long as your doctor approves. They are often prescribed together to try to gain better pain control.

The FDA classifies these medication as narcotic analgesics, so they may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
