Mixing Hydrocodone And Tramadol Together

I took hydrocodone about 4 hours ago and I have some old tramadol. I have such a bad headache. Will it be OK to take this tramadol?

You can do so, as long as your doctor approves, but you should be aware that these opioids can cause headaches as a side effect, according to the FDA and the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, and constipation.

I've read a lot about seizure risks and such when mixing the two, but no one ever talks about doses in those posts and I'm looking to stay safe. Would (1) 5mg hydrocodone and (1) 200mg tramadol be safe and okay? I have no tolerance to opiates.
I currently have a cough so bad it's giving me intense migraines every day and I'm kinda in the boat as finals man here haha

Hydrocodone was primarily used as a cough suppressant back in the day if that's not touching your cold/cough see your doc ASAP.that said mixing narcotics especially in opiate naive persons is ALWAYS RISKY.i get your in a tough spot just trying to express the risks/benefits of this mixing. Hope things work out for you......
