Mixing Meds With Doxy-cycl

I am taking DOXY-CYCL HYCL along with 10mg of Amlodipine. Now my legs are swollen. I'm not sure if it's the antibiotics or the blood pressure pills. Am I supposed to take both pills at the same time? Also I've been on the Amlodipine for 2 months and 4 days of the 7 day antibiotic.

If I had to make a guess, I'd say it is most likely the Amlodipine, it is known to sometimes cause edema in some people that take it, as listed in the side effects according to the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and hypotension.

The antibiotic may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

What have your blood pressure levels been? Have you consulted your doctor? Are these the only medications you take?
